The couple, known for their public display of love and resilience, are already parents to two children.

A journey of pain

Behind the celebrations lies a deeply personal story of struggle and loss. Mueni has previously opened up about suffering two miscarriages before the birth of their children, describing the experience as emotionally devastating.

She has also spoken about one incident she attributed to a doctor’s misdiagnosis and poor handling, which she says left lasting trauma on the couple.

“For my first miscarriage was a doctor’s fault. It was misdiagnosis and mishandling. The second miscarriage I don’t want to talk about it, but it affected me because I remember for the first one, I cried in that hospital a lot, and I had a long conversation with that doctor, and I remember I had a lengthy conversation with that doctor he will never forget me,” she said.

These challenges came during a difficult period in their early relationship, when Bolo was still building his tailoring career in Eastlands.

Their love story has often been highlighted for its resilience, mutual support, and shared growth through financial hardship and personal trials. The two later formalised their union in a traditional wedding ceremony held in 2024.
