Police have further revealed that the key person of interest has been on record with a history of prior convictions as well as acquittals.

“The officers gave chase, intercepting and arresting one suspect, while the other fled towards the Mutirithia area, abandoning his motorcycle. The arrested suspect is a known criminal with a history of prior convictions and acquittals at the Molo Law Courts. Upon inspecting the recovered sacks, officers discovered nine assorted 6kg gas cylinders,” NPS noted.
