Zari Hassan’s visit to Kenya was not without drama. The Ugandan socialite ‘clashed’ with a local tour firm over a breach of contract.

The mother of five jetted out of Kenya on Saturday, June 11, 2022, having bagged Ksh2.5 million from her three-day visit to the country.

Zari touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Wednesday morning flanked by her new young lover, manager Galston Antony, a cameraman and a friend only identified as Sofia.

Zari bagged millions

The South Africa-based Ugandan socialite was in Kenya on a business trip. She commissioned a new mansion designed by a local construction firm and also hosted a gig at X/S Millionaires club.

The 41-year-old was paid Ksh800,000 for her appearance at the XS Millionaire which is located on Baricho road in Nairobi.

The mother of five was paid Ksh1.7 million for her services to market the mansions designed by the local construction company.

Zari had been paid Ksh200,000 by a local tour, travel and events company. However, the socialite was forced to refund the money after she opted out of the deal at the last minute.

The tour firm had paid the sum to have Zari on a game drive tour and had hoped to use the experience to create content to market their firm.

However, the company was left counting losses especially after hiring game drive vans that were to ferry the Ugandan socialite to the park.

Zari flew to her home country of Uganda after winding up her visit to Kenya. She will start a five-day visit to Tanzania in the course of this week.
