‘Keep my wife’s name out of it!’ — Shakib fumes as Arrow Bwoy sets his sights on Zari ahead of June bout
Ugandan professional boxer Shakib Cham has fired back at Kenyan musician Arrow Bwoy after the singer dragged his wife, socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan, into a heated online exchange ahead of Shakib’s much-anticipated fight scheduled for June 20.
The tension began after Arrow Bwoy made a bold and controversial post suggesting a romantic angle involving Zari, a move that clearly struck a nerve with the boxer, who was quick to draw a hard boundary around his family.
His response was sharp, protective, and unmistakably firm, signalling that while he may be preparing for a sporting showdown, his personal life is completely off limits.
“My wife isn’t part of this fight, so keep her name out of it. Don’t cross that line and make me angrier. Save the energy for the ring on June 20th. 🥊🇺🇬,” Shakib Cham stated.
Arrow Bwoy, however, had earlier stirred the conversation with a dramatic and playful post on his Instagram, hinting at a shift in his personal life and boldly inserting himself into Zari’s orbit in a way that instantly went viral.
“NOW THAT IAM SINGLE @shakib_cham YOU DONT DESERVE THAT BEAUTIFUL LADY ZARI THE BOSS LADY, FROM 20th JUNE THE HASTAG WILL BE #ARROW$ZARI❤️ … WALAHI HII NI MUNGU LETA @ogaobinna TAFTA SHEIKH AFUNGE NIKAA ASAP,” Arrow Bwoy wrote.

This comes days after Nadia, through her Instagram account, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, issued a statement announcing their separation.
In the break-up statement, Nadia outlined the emotional toll of the past 18 months, during which the couple had been locked in an on-and-off relationship.
In the emotionally charged post titled “POSTPARTUM & HEARTBREAK,” Nadia confessed that making the final decision to end the relationship was incredibly painful, particularly given their shared responsibilities as parents.
“Over the past few months, I made the difficult decision to go our separate ways with my partner,” Nadia wrote.
“This has not been an easy journey for either of us, especially because we were not only partners in life, but also parents to young children who mean the world to us.”
The pop star, who has always been open about her desire for a traditional family dynamic, admitted that her exhaustion had finally taken over.
“I have hoped and prayed that things would have been different for the last 1 and a half years as we have been on and off,” she revealed.
“Being a lady who always wanted family, I fought so hard, but I guess I lost.”
Nadia laid bare the immense mental and physical burden she has carried behind the scenes, contrasting her glamorous public image with the reality of her domestic struggles.
She detailed the agonising reality of navigating early motherhood alongside a devastating breakup.
“As a mother, this transition has affected me deeply emotionally, mentally, and personally,” she explained.
“Balancing motherhood, healing, work, and public life while trying to remain strong for my children has been one of the hardest experiences I have faced.”
