Zari’s children join Diamond and Zuchu in Tanzania ahead of daughter’s 40-day celebration

A family reunion is taking shape in Tanzania as Zari Hassan’s children with Diamond Platnumz arrived in the country ahead of their half-sister’s upcoming 40-day celebration.
Zari’s children, Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan, arrived in Tanzania on Wednesday, September 9, 2026,joining their father, Diamond Platnumz, and his partner, Zuchu, as the family prepares for the special occasion.
Their arrival comes just days before Diamond and Zuchu are set to celebrate their daughter reaching 40 days.
The couple announced that the celebration will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Tegeta Madale in Dar es Salaam, giving family and friends an opportunity to come together and mark the milestone.

The celebration follows the birth of Diamond and Zuchu’s daughter on August 2, 2026. The baby is Zuchu’s first child and Diamond’s fifth.
Zari’s children are therefore expected to be among the family members joining the couple for the celebration, adding a family reunion element to the event.
The arrival of Tiffah and Nillan has also attracted attention from fans, given their close connection to their father and their place within Diamond’s family.
40-day celebration
The upcoming gathering comes at a significant point in the baby’s early life, with the 40-day mark carrying cultural significance in some Muslim communities.
In Islam, the period after childbirth is known as nifas, referring to postpartum bleeding. Islamic teachings provide rules around this period, with the majority view holding that nifas can last for up to 40 days, although it can end earlier.

However, holding a celebration on the 40th day is not an Islamic requirement. Some Muslim families and communities observe the occasion as a cultural tradition, using it as an opportunity to welcome the baby, bring relatives together and celebrate the mother’s recovery.
For Diamond and Zuchu, the September 12 event will mark about 40 days since they welcomed their daughter and will bring together members of their extended family.
With Zari’s children already in Tanzania, attention will now turn to the family gathering in Tegeta Madale, where Diamond and Zuchu are expected to celebrate the latest addition to their family.
The occasion is likely to attract interest from fans across East Africa, who have closely followed Diamond and Zuchu’s journey into parenthood and the arrival of their first child together.
