Geoffrey Mosiria takes in 2 Kayole brothers for rehabilitation

Nairobi County Chief Officer for Customer Engagement Geoffrey Mosiria has taken in two young men from Kayole for rehabilitation, saying he wants to give them an opportunity to recover, rebuild their lives and pursue their dreams.
In a post shared on Thursday, September 10, 2026, Mosiria addressed people who have questioned his support for young men, particularly those who claim that he focuses on women.
“Pale mnasema Mosiria anapenda wamama na hajawahi kusaidia boychild, I want to tell you that I have rescued and supported many boys and young men,” Mosiria wrote.
He said his latest intervention came after his brother, musician Toxic Lyrikali, asked him to help the two men through the healing and rehabilitation process.
“Today, I have once again admitted two brothers from a street family in Kayole after my brother, Toxic Lyrikali, requested that I help them through the healing and rehabilitation process,” he added.
Mosiria introduces the two brothers
In a voice note accompanying the post, Mosiria introduced the two men as his brothers and explained that they were from Kayole.
“Leo niko na ndugu wangu wawili watatutambikisha na watatembea na usafiri, watabadilisha maisha, wajirudie, waweze kufika mahali wanataka,” he said, describing his intention to help them change their lives and eventually reach their goals.
Mosiria also interacted with the two men about their backgrounds, asking where they were from and what they ate.
One of them identified Kayole as his home and said he ate ugali and maharagwe.
A chance to rebuild their lives
Mosiria also spoke to one of the men about substance use, asking whether he was ready to stop using chewing gum and cigarettes. The man indicated that he was ready to quit.
The conversation came as Mosiria encouraged the men to begin their recovery journey, noting that each of them had dreams they could pursue.
“One has his dreams, huyu ana dream yake na huyu ana dream yake,” he said.
Mosiria said the public would soon get to see the results of the rehabilitation process, promising to share their progress.
“Soon, you will see their transformation journey,” he wrote.
He also urged people to support those going through difficult periods instead of judging them.
“Let’s support and give people a chance to rebuild their lives instead of judging them,” Mosiria said.
The intervention highlights Mosiria’s continued involvement in helping young people facing challenges and his call for society to give them opportunities to recover and start again.
