Vera Sidika leaks messages as mom cautions her about burnout
Socialite and nightclub hostess Vera Sidika has given fans a rare glimpse into the exhausting realities of her life, sharing private chats with her mother that reveal her relentless work schedule and nonstop travel.
The messages, which she shared on her Instagram stories on Sunday, August 31, 2025, show her mother expressing concern over her back-to-back events, warning her to slow down and avoid burnout.

“My mom is shocked at how I’m working back-to-back with no rest. Yet my online people will say, “we never see her work” She just goes on vacation,” she wrote before sharing her mum’s messages.
In the chat, Vera explains how she manages an intense work calendar, revealing that she had just returned to Nairobi for an evening show before departing the next morning at 6:45 a.m. for an event in Lodwar, with yet another engagement scheduled in Eldoret the following night.
Her mother’s concern was clear, urging her to rest, while Vera reassured her that she had been getting daily massages to cope and was still recovering from a recent trip to Thailand.
“How are you doing today?” her mum asked.
“Hi, Mom. I’m good. In Lodwar now. Event tonight,” Vera responded.
“Eeeh si you came back yesterday?” her mum responded.
“Yes. I arrived at 4 pm and then had an event in Nairobi last night. Then had a flight at 6:45 am to Lodwar for another event. and ELDORET event tomorrow night too,” Vera added.
“Slow down to avoid burning out,” Vera’s mum advised.
“I understand, mom, I’ve been getting massages every day to help me cope. I’m still jet-lagged from the Thailand trip. But I have to work you know. I’ll rest from Monday,” Vera added.
Vera then made a separate post to clarify the misconceptions surrounding her work.
She revealed that even when she appears to be on vacation, she often has at least three shows lined up immediately upon landing.
“Every time I’m on vacation, immediately I land, I usually have at least 3 shows lined up and more. When in Kenya, I’m a full-time mom & workaholic,” she wrote.
She recalled December alone, when she completed 20 club appearances across multiple towns and cities, some accessible only by road.
She stressed that while her lifestyle may look glamorous, it comes with physical and mental challenges.
“I remember having 20 club appearances in December alone. All in different towns & cities, some with no flights, only accessible by road. It was crazy!!! But yea, I really do work. And its not as easy as it seems, btw,” she added.
