Socialite Vera Sidika has taken a swipe at Anerlisa Muigai following her leaked audio where she was fundraising for her fiancé Josiah Kariuki’s cash bail.

Speaking during her Q&A session on her Instagram account, Vera threw shade at Anerlisa’s
friends saying it was not okay for them to expose her fundraising for her man’s cash bail.

She, however, criticised Anerlisa saying it was unsettling that she was fundraising to bail out her man when he seemed rich.

Let me tell you something, okay? It’s not cool for fans to expose the fact that you are fundraising for your guy. But baby let me be honest. Why would you fundraise for a guy that looks like he has money?

What he should say is babe could please go see my lawyer, get three million from him, and bail me out, because why? Ata afadhali ungejua ni mtu hana kakitu,” Vera stated.

Additionally, Vera quipped that Kariuki was setting up Anerlisa to potential embarrassment from everyone else and that he was likely to ruin her reputation as a successful business lady.

And why do you need to ask your friends to do that? I feel like your friends would fundraise for you but for your guy… that’s nasty work. They did a girl dirty but I think if you got a rich guy, he should not put you up for embarrassments like that,” she added.

Anerlisa shared a WhatsApp group chat leaked by her friends. According to the chat, the WhatsApp group was to help her fundraise Ksh3 million to bail out her fiancé who was recently implicated in the fake fertilizer scandal.

Her fiance, CEO of Silica Booster Limited (SBL) was charged at the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court on May 6 over the case.

Reacting to the leaked group chat, Anerlisa expressed her dissatisfaction and disappointment saying; “When you thought you had real friends then boom, a blogger sends you a screenshot from a very enclosed group. Tomorrow could be you,

“At least I know I cannot count on everyone and that’s okay. And yes we managed to get out without your help.”

The beauty also shared a post with a quote describing true and fake friends.

“Fake friends are like shadows: always near you at your brightest moments but nowhere to be seen at your darkest hour. True friends are like stars, you don’t always see them but they are always there,” the quote read.
