Content creator and entrepreneur Thee Pluto has broken his silence after a video of him flyboarding in Bali went viral, sparking online speculation and jokes about his sexuality.

In the clip, which shows him being supported mid-air by an instructor during the water sport, some netizens raised concerns about his sexuality, sparking a wave of memes and banter across social media. The caption of the video read, “Gravity ain’t got nothin’ on this hustle.”

Reacting to the uproar on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, Thee Pluto expressed frustration, revealing that the online chatter has begun to affect his relationship.

“Hii ujinga yenu walai imefanya current atishie kuniacha. Sim2lie banaa. Karibu aamini hizo story manze. Kuweni wapole majama. Nakam tumalize hii vita mko nayo na watu wa forex once and for all,” he said.

Break-up

This comes a few months after Thee Pluto opened up about the emotional and professional transformation he experienced following his high-profile breakup with fellow content creator Felicity Shiru.

Speaking during an interview with Dr Ofweneke on Wednesday night, July 23, 2025, Thee Pluto acknowledged that their relationship played out under intense public scrutiny, making the split messy and deeply personal.

He admitted taking responsibility for his role in the fallout and emphasised the importance of privacy moving forward.

Additionally, Pluto revealed he took intentional time to reflect, heal, and rebuild himself, adding that the post-breakup period was about transitioning to a stronger, more grounded version of himself.

“My marriage was public, and I agree the breakup was messy for me. I take responsibility for my part that unfolded in ways that I could not imagine. After that, I took time to heal and learn, and I have taken time to also evolve and become a better man,” Thee Pluto said.

He went on to say that the breakup taught him to shield his values and relationships from public scrutiny, creating a healthier balance between his private life and public persona.

“The breakup taught me more than success has. A lot of things you have to keep private. I have learnt to separate myself from whatever I have or the values I hold, from whatever is in the public and how the public looks at me,” he added.

Despite the heartbreak, Pluto maintained that his faith in marriage and relationships remains intact.

“My breakup has not changed the perception I have of marriage and relationships. Sometimes love does not fail; it teaches us,” he said, marking a mature outlook on love and personal growth.

Pluto was in a high-end relationship with Shiru for nearly three years, but it was not until September 2024 that they decided to part ways.
