Comedian Herman Gakobo Kago alias Professor Hamo surfaced online with a swollen face to the surprise of netizens who wanted to know what happened to him.
Hamo left netizens in stitches as he explained how he ended up with a swollen face after he was roughed up at a wedding.
The comedian hilariously narrated how he was beaten silly after being caught stealing a phone at a wedding.
“Ukweli ni kwamba mimi vile nilikuja hapo kwa harusi nlikua nimekuja kuangalia watu wametoka Murang’a ndo wanawekanga vitu hivyo hivyo. Mimi ata si ati nlikua nimekuja kuiba, kuna simu nliona hapo ata si mkono yangu iliiendea ni hio simu ilikujia mkono,” Harmo said.
The comedian further called on the government to protect petty thieves saying that they don’t always want to steal. He sarcastically lamented that the violence meted at him was not proportional to the theft he committed.
“Mimi kushika sasa kuenda kuingia nyuma ya hema ndo niangalie ama ni kuzima ama ni kung’oa battery hapo ndo nikashikwa hapo ndo nikapigwa magumi na nkawekelewa sana. Serikali ikue ikiangalia saa ingine kuna vitu inajileta kwa mkono ya mtu si ati ni kupenda kwa mtu ati anataka kuiba,” he said.

Medical condition
Jokes aside, Professor Hamo’s swollen face was caused by a medical condition and not phone theft like he hilariously claimed in the video.
The comedian’s swollen face was caused by protein intolerance. He revealed in an earlier post on social media that he was suffering from the medical condition.
“Mungu ni mwema ati ni mimi niko na protein intolerance 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sasa dr moimet @koibatekherbs tumalize hii kitu kabisa,” Hamo wrote.
