Kenyan R&B musician Otile Brown now says that he wasn’t interested in socialite Vera Sidika from the onset, but Sidika managed to work her way into his heart.
Speaking to Tanzania’s Wasafi FM on Monday, January 13, Otile Brown said, contrary to popular opinion, he did not hook up with Sidika to popularise his brand.
“I was never physically attracted to Vera, and, not even a single day, did I make advances at her. She did. I am not lying, and it was about time I reveal the truth,” said the Mapenzi Hisia star, who dated Sidika in an on-and-off relationship that lasted at least four months beginning April 2018.
“Vera found me when I had already built a name for myself in the entertainment industry. So, allegations that I latched on to her for fame are unfounded,” added Otile Brown.
The 25-year-old artiste said he decided to open up because both he and Sidika have since moved on with their lives, and that their fans deserved to know the truth.
While breaking up with Otile Brown in August 2018, Vera Sidika claimed that the musician was financially broke, and depended fully on her, consequently, making her attraction to him fade.
Brown, on the other hand, alleged that Sidika cheated on him, and terminated a pregnancy he had sired.
