No handouts: Huddah Monroe calls out lazy family members
Kenyan socialite and beauty entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has lashed out at people who expect to benefit from the hard work of others.
In a fiery rant on her Instagram stories on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the Rich Beauty founder said some people spend their time drinking alcohol and relaxing, but still want to share equally in what others have worked for.

Huddah said she has reached a point where she no longer feels the need to help family members who misuse money on alcohol and leisure instead of improving their lives. She stressed that she works hard to build her wealth and is unwilling to share it with those who refuse to put in the same effort.
The outspoken entrepreneur made it clear that she is not afraid to distance herself from such people, even if they are family.
Huddah explained that wealth does not come easily. She said it takes sleepless nights and sacrifice, yet some people who put in no effort still believe they deserve the same rewards. According to her, this kind of entitlement is unfair and should not be encouraged.
She added that she has stopped caring about such individuals. In her view, money should not be wasted on people who are lazy or who use it only for alcohol and enjoyment instead of trying to improve their lives.
“People who never work for money and always want an equal share with you, as if you don’t have sleep nights while they sleep all day. I’ll drive past a lazy family member with a Lambo and even splash water on them. Without a care, I cared so much I no longer give a f*ck,” Huddah stated.
Adding;
“They always want to taint your name. Hatusaidiangi When you’ve done all you can, but their money is for alcohol and chill.”
