Njambi Fever warns women against housing broke men

Content creator Njambi Fever has cautioned women against making what she terms a major mistake in relationships — taking financially struggling men into their homes.
She argued that while love may encourage women to support their partners, moving a man into a woman’s house often shifts the balance of respect and can create long-term problems.
Njambi explained that the best approach for women who choose to date men with limited finances is to endure hardships together in the man’s own living space rather than moving him into a home paid for by the woman.
According to her, financial stability should never be the basis for reversing traditional roles of responsibility in relationships.
Njambi’s strong advice
“Makosa kubwa sana, you can do as a woman is asking a man to come live in your house as you provide.”
“Kama umependa mtu ako broke, heri mkateseke huko kwa single room yake; usijaribu kumwambia aingie one bedroom yako ama two bedroom juu unaona ati uko financially stable, haiyaeh,” Njambi wrote on Instagram on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

Her statement highlights a concern that has become increasingly common in modern relationships, where financial struggles push couples to reconsider traditional roles.
Njambi maintained that housing a broke man not only creates dependency but also undermines the respect a man should naturally command in his own space.
She suggested that love should not be equated with material provision, and when women begin to provide everything, it can distort the dynamics of a relationship.
Painful experience
Njambi’s comments were in response to a viral tweet that captured the painful experience of a young woman. The tweet read:
“When I was 20, I fed a man (it wasn’t a big deal; I loved him, and all I wanted was for things to get moving for him) and clothed him, lakini alikua akishiba ananipiga kuliko Ngoma ya bango night.”
This account sheds light on how supporting a partner financially can sometimes backfire, with gratitude turning into entitlement or even abuse.
Njambi stressed that offering full financial support and accommodation to a man could expose women to emotional and physical harm, as well as a lack of respect.
