Businessman MoFarm has unveiled a title deed registered in the names of TikToker Vincent Kaluma’s parents as he defended himself against claims that he manipulated the young man and misappropriated some of the money donated to support his struggling family.

In a TikTok post on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, MoFarm made public details of the title deed, showing Kaluma’s father, Zachary Kibe Kahoro, and his mother, Beatrice Wangechi Kagaki, as the registered owners of the piece of land at the centre of the ongoing debate.

“Kaluma’s father and mother in the title deed,” MoFarm wrote.

MoFarm’s move comes amid claims that millions of shillings donated to the needy TikToker had been misused by prominent people who had presented themselves as his helpers.

It also comes in the wake of Kaluma Boy’s recent TikTok Live, during which he gave his side of the story and revealed what he said had been happening behind the scenes after TikTokers held a star-studded fundraiser for his family in Othaya.

In the live session, Kaluma said the events that followed the fundraiser began the day after the money was collected, when MoFarm visited his family at their home.

He said he, his father and MoFarm held discussions and agreed that the donated money would be used to purchase a piece of land and build a home for the family.

“And now what I want to reveal is true. From the first day when you all came to our Othaya home and donated money in the fundraiser, the next day MoFarm came to our home and we talked together with my father,” Kaluma said.

According to the young TikToker, the family agreed that the money raised during the fundraiser would be channelled towards securing land and constructing a house because their home in Othaya did not provide a suitable place for them to build.

“And we agreed that all the donated money would be used to buy land and build a home. It was because there at our Othaya home, we did not have a good place to build,” he said.

Kaluma said it was MoFarm who suggested that they consider Chaka as the location where the family would acquire land and build their new home.

“It was him who suggested that we go to Chaka and build there, and we agreed,” he said.

He further recounted how MoFarm subsequently took him and his parents to a popular city hotel, where he said the family was left without being clearly informed about who would settle their accommodation expenses.

“The first day he took me and my parents to that hotel called Opal. So when he left us there, he did not make it clear who would pay, so he just dumped us there,” Kaluma said.

According to Kaluma, he and his parents remained at the hotel for two weeks before leaving.

“We stayed at the hotel for two weeks. We left the hotel after two weeks. After that, he sent me a pay bill and said I needed to pay a certain amount,” he said.

Kaluma claimed that the hotel bill had accumulated to Ksh206,550 by the time they left.

“And the amount of the hotel had accumulated to 206,550. So after that, he told us to look for a rental house,” he said.

Kaluma said the family subsequently found a three-bedroom house whose monthly rent was Ksh35,000, with a similar amount required as a deposit.

“And we found a three-bedroom house for 35,000, and the deposit was also 35K, so he told me to pay 70K,” he said.
