Ivy Trizah Muhenje reflects on journey after chef beauty challenge win at Miss World

Miss World Kenya Ivy Trizah Muhenje has reflected on her journey at the Miss World 2026 competition, highlighting a string of achievements that saw her represent Kenya on the global stage.
The 23-year-old beauty queen was among 111 contestants who competed at the Miss World Festival in Vietnam, which concluded on September 5, 2026.
In a post celebrating her performance, Trizah highlighted her biggest achievements, including winning the Chef Beauty Challenge, securing a Top 20 overall position and finishing among the Top 5 in Africa.
“History made on the world stage! 🥳🇰🇪✨” Trizah wrote.
“Out of 111 global participants, Kenya has officially secured a spot in the Top 20! From winning the Chef Beauty Challenge to placing Top 6 in Beauty With A Purpose Overall, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.”
Trizah’s Miss World achievements
Apart from her Top 20 overall finish, Trizah listed several other achievements from the competition.
She secured Top 5 in Africa, won the Chef Beauty Challenge and finished Top 6 overall in Beauty With A Purpose.
She also made the Top 6 in Top Model Africa, Top 5 in the Head-to-Head Challenge, Top 3 in the Africa Sports Challenge and Top 5 in the Multimedia Challenge in Africa.
“Here is a look at the key achievements,” she wrote before listing her accomplishments.
“Top 20 Overall (Out of 111 Global Participants): Top 5 Africa, Winner: Chef Beauty Challenge, Top 6 Beauty With A Purpose Overall, Top 6 Top Model Africa, Top 5 Head To Head Africa, Top 3 Africa Sports Challenge and Top 5 Multimedia challenge Africa”
The achievements add to an impressive run for Trizah, who had earlier secured a Top 5 position in Africa in the Multimedia Challenge. She was also among the Top 6 in Africa and Top 24 worldwide in Beauty With A Purpose, Top 3 in Africa and Top 24 worldwide in the Sports Challenge, and Top 6 in Africa and Top 21 worldwide in the Top Model Round 2 Challenge.
The flag flies high
Trizah also thanked Kenyans and her supporters for standing behind her throughout the competition.
“Thank you to everyone who voted, cheered, and stood by us throughout this journey. The flag flies high! 🇰🇪”
Her latest reflection comes a day after she returned to Kenya following the competition, where she received an emotional welcome from family, friends and supporters at the airport.
At the time, Trizah described her journey as one she would “forever remember and cherish”, after carrying Kenya’s flag on the world stage.
Her Miss World campaign has therefore ended with several notable achievements, including the Chef Beauty Challenge victory and multiple strong finishes across the competition’s fast-track challenges.
For Trizah, the journey offered an opportunity to showcase Kenya’s talent, creativity and determination on an international stage.
