No talks about how tiring weddings are lol. Happy 8th anniversary my love Munyi, my Rhino, my King. In this life and the next, I choose you,” she wrote.

Murugi’s wedding band
On March 4, 2025, the influencer shared the influencer opened up about a deeply personal experience how she lost her wedding band.
In her emotional post, she described the overwhelming grief she felt over the past few months, revealing that the absence of her wedding band left her feeling like she had been robbed of one of the most significant pieces of her life.
“So towards the end of last year, I lost my wedding band. If you’re married, you know what a heartbreaking thing this is. Like I can’t even describe to you the number of times I have cried about it over the past few months. A wedding band symbolizes so many things and carries so much meaning that it just felt like I had been robbed of one of the most significant things in my life. I felt certain that when we were moving house at the end of the year, I would find it somewhere but that didn’t happen. I looked everywhere…. And I mean everywhere,” Murugi said.

In addition, Murugi stated that in December 2024, she replaced the lost symbol after months of living without it adding that although she still wore her engagement ring, the new wedding band could not replace the significance of the one her husband placed on her finger on their wedding day.
“After months of not having it, I realized it was time for me to get a new one. We commissioned this one in December and 3 months later, it’s on my finger!” she added.
“I love how it turned out – it’s even more beautiful than the original set (I still had the same engagement ring) and although it can never match the significance of the original ring that my husband placed on my finger on our wedding day, it’s close enough 🥹 I will get them prayed for of course and I’m just so happy to have this symbolic piece of jewellery back on my finger.”
