‘Maybe not’- Samidoh dismisses potential collabo with Mejja

Sensational Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu alias Samidoh got fans buzzing with his new social media post.

Samidoh shared a photo with Mejja and captioned it with his latest song’s lines.

“When u are not sure from a look kama ni kadeal kameingiana ama umechanukwa. Siku hizi ni kubaad.”

Mejja hit the reply with matching energy saying; “AJaab Mzing!!!! Ni good vibes pekee.”

The post received so much love and among the flood of fawning comments, curious fans were speculating for a possible collabo between the two.

Speaking to K24 Digital on a phone call Samidoh dismissed the speculations saying there’s nothing really.

“No, there’s nothing that is cooking,” he said.

He however said fans should look out for other exciting projects he has going on.

The two artists are on totally different music genres where Samidoh does Mugithi and Kikuyu songs while Mejja thrives with Genge music.

On Monday, July 23, Mejja released his latest song ‘Siku hizi ni kubad’ and has since garnered over 653K views on Youtube.

This comes shortly after Youtube pulled down his song Tabia za Wakenya over copyright allegations.

The song which had gathered over 1.6 million views was reported by an upcoming artist Bouja Bwuoy.

Confirming it, Mejja in an Instagram post wrote “I am speechless. You can slow me down but I am not giving in. God above everything.”

On the other hand, Samidoh last released a new song four months ago on March 25.

The song ‘Ihinda Ringi‘ (Once more) has amassed over 1 million views thus far.
