Media personality Kamene Goro has made it clear that motherhood is not in her plans. The former radio presenter told her fans not to expect a child from her anytime soon or ever.

Kamene was responding to questions from her followers during a Q&A session on Instagram on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

One curious fan asked, “When are we getting a baby from you? To this, Kamene responded, saying, “Let’s just get this clear, no baby is coming.”

Another follower asked if she liked children and whether she planned on having any in the future. Kamene replied that she does love babies but was not planning to have any of her own.

Pregnancy rumours

This is not the first time her fans have asked her about having children. In March 2024, just months after getting married, she shut down speculation that she was expecting a baby.

In a series of Instagram stories, the presenter addressed the persistent rumours surrounding her physical appearance after her recent birthday celebration.

Kamene expressed her disappointment at the speculation, especially about the way she was walking during her birthday, which some people wrongly linked to pregnancy.

“Over the past week, I’ve seen a lot of comments and speculation about how I was walking on my birthday, and it always goes back to the same outdated, pretty insensitive conclusion that I’m pregnant. Like, come on, guys. I said I would never respond, but I feel I should because those sentiments are so unfounded and ignorant,” Kamene wrote.

She set the record straight, revealing that her changed posture was due to a knee operation she underwent earlier in the year and not pregnancy. She also opened up about the tough journey she’s had recovering.

“Remember, in January, I had surgery on my knee that had me in the hospital for 5 days. I haven’t walked in a long time, it’s actually in the run-up to my birthday that I started to try walking without my crutches. It’s a difficult process to try to restore activity and muscle strength to the knee, that is why I’m walking or waddling funny. It’s been such a difficult recovery, honestly,” Kamene explained.

She concluded by urging people to avoid making assumptions and to seek the truth before speaking out.

“Anyway, what am I saying, before you talk from a point of ignorance and just verbal diarrhoea all over my comments, just find out what’s up, or even just ask.”
