Risper Faith shares her 3rd trimester pregnancy struggles while abroad

For many expectant mothers, the third trimester is often described as the most physically and emotionally demanding stage of pregnancy.

For Kenyan influencer and entrepreneur Risper Faith that reality has become even more intense as she navigates pregnancy while living abroad.

In a relatable and vivid reflection of her experience, Risper, on Sunday, May 24, 2026, painted a picture of what 3AM in the third trimester can feel like, sleepless nights, physical discomfort, and mental overload all at once.

She shared that it is the kind of night where you are wide awake with no clear reason, while the baby constantly shifts and presses on the bladder, adding that at the same time, her mind is overwhelmed with thoughts of everything that still needs to be sorted before the baby arrives.

The influencer added that even turning in bed is painful due to hip discomfort, and just when there’s a brief chance of rest, the urge to keep going to the bathroom returns again.

Beyond the physical discomfort, Risper also pointed out that living in a foreign country adds another layer of pressure, especially with a seven-year-old still adjusting to a new school curriculum in the USA.

“POV it’s 3am in the 3rd trimester ,you are wide awake with insomnia for no reason, the baby is doing kanungo on your bladder, and your mind is racing with stupid thoughts you need to get done before the baby arrives,” Risper wrote.

“You are in a foreign country with a seven-year-old who is yet to join the new USA curriculum; you want to roll over, but your hips hurt every time you move. Ooooh, and now you have to pee again.”

The update comes weeks after the influencer travelled to the United States, where she plans to welcome her second child.

In a heartfelt post, shared on her official Instagram account on Friday, May 15, 2026, the social media personality revealed that she made the trip together with her son, describing it as a special family journey as they prepare to bring home his sibling.

“My son and I are on our way to the USA to bring home his sibling,” Risper wrote.

She also reflected on her journey, noting that she feels deeply blessed by what she describes as divine elevation.

“God keeps elevating us in rooms people prayed we’d never enter. Business class, family growing, passports stamped, prayers answered,” she added.

“Some people watch blessings… others choke on them.”

The post carried a strong tone of appreciation and triumph, with Risper Faith highlighting how far she has come in her personal and family life.
