Hellen Muthoni: Gospel singer who sought Kenyans’ help after car repossession issues update

Kikuyu Gospel singer Hellen Muthoni has shared a breakthrough after her car, which had been repossessed, is now set to be delivered back to Nairobi following her efforts and the support of her fans.
In an update shared on Facebook on Saturday, November 8, 2025, Muthoni expressed immense gratitude, saying that divine grace and public support had been key in her bid to get her car back.
She revealed that she had travelled to Mombasa, where the car had been taken, and arranged for it to be returned to Nairobi.
“By God’s grace and your help, I was able to go to Mombasa, to the showroom where my car was taken, and by God’s grace, the car will be delivered in Nairobi! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” she posted, emphasising her relief and appreciation for the support she received.

This came just 7 days after the ‘Msingi’ hitmaker shared on social media the distressing news that her car had been repossessed.
In her post on November 1, 2025, Muthoni appealed to Kenyans for words of encouragement and advice.
She noted that this was the second repossession of the year, expressing gratitude in advance for any support that could help her navigate the difficult situation.
“So my car got repossessed again, this is the second time this year, words of encouragement and advice will go a long way, thank you,” she wrote at the time.

Commuting problems
Following the repossession, Muthoni shared another video on Facebook expressing how uncomfortable she felt without a car to rely on for her daily commuting.
She mentioned that she had been depending on fellow church members for transport and expressed her gratitude to those who did not turn away when she needed help after her vehicle was taken.
At the same time, the songstress acknowledged that she had received numerous warm messages from fans and prayed that God would bless them for supporting her during the difficult period.
“I am just leaving church and heading to Kariobangi South. I want to thank you for your prayers, your support, and for standing with me. Your messages have been overwhelming. I am here with Morris, who has given me a ride from church. He is the one taking me to Kariobangi South today,” she said.
