Geoffrey Mosiria pleads with Director Trevor to forgive Eve Mungai

Chief Officer in charge of Environment, Nairobi County, Geoffrey Mosiria, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, pleaded with famous YouTuber Director Trevor to forgive his ex-girlfriend, Eve Mungai, amid swirling depression rumours.
Through a video clip he shared on his verified X account, Mosiria appealed for reconciliation, saying relationships are not free of mistakes and that forgiveness could help both creators heal and focus on the future.
“I have requested our brother, Director Trevor, to forgive and support our sister, Eve Mungai. The past is gone; they should now focus on the present and future by nurturing and supporting one another,” Mosiria said.
Depression reports
His remarks come against the backdrop of heavy speculation on social media that Eve Mungai had sunk into depression following her public breakup with Director Trevor.
Blogs and online gossip pages have been rife with claims that she regretted walking away from Trevor, with some even suggesting her career was on the decline.

However, Eve herself dismissed the reports in a post on Instagram, where she made it clear she had moved on from her past and was in a better mental space.
“Some people visit my past more than I do. I don’t live there anymore. I sold the whole building,” Eve posted on Tuesday, sparking mixed reactions from fans, with many applauding her confidence while others insisted the healing process is ongoing.
Fans divided
The online community remains divided over Mosiria’s plea, with some fans calling his intervention unnecessary while others praised him for pushing reconciliation between two figures who once dominated Kenya’s YouTube scene.
Supporters of Trevor argue that the creator has already established himself as an independent brand.

At the same time, Eve’s fans maintain she continues to thrive and does not need to go back to a past relationship.
Nonetheless, Mosiria’s message adds a new twist to the public conversation about the once-celebrated YouTube couple whose separation in early 2025 shocked many of their followers.
