Nameless’ daughter Tumi confirms relationship with Jakes Nyanjom

Tumi Mathenge has confirmed that she and Homeboyz Radio presenter Jakes Nyanjom are “doing well together”, giving the clearest indication yet of their relationship after months of public speculation.
The daughter of musicians Nameless and Wahu Kagwi made the remarks during a visit to Jakes’ workplace, where he was hosting alongside his co-presenter Chunkz.
Chunkz used the opportunity to ask the two about their relationship, noting that he often sees them together online and that their interactions have led people to believe they are dating.
Tumi responded coyly to the question, saying: “We are doing well, that is true, or what do you think?”
Jakes echoed her response while asking Chunkz to explain what he made of their posts and appearances together.
“We are doing well, or what do you think? When you see us online, what do you think?” he said.
The conversation continued as Chunkz pointed out that Tumi and Jakes have been seen holding hands. He, however, noted that he had never witnessed the two kiss and challenged them to settle the matter during the radio show.
Jakes quickly dismissed the suggestion, comparing the idea to watching one’s parents kiss. He instead explained that they spend time together doing ordinary activities.
“Maybe just playing FIFA together. I teach her,” he said.
Tumi added that the two also watch movies and cook together at Jake’s home. She praised him for his cooking skills, giving listeners a glimpse into how much time they spend together away from the cameras.
Their closeness has also featured on their social media pages. Earlier, Tumi gifted Jakes a customised Manchester United jersey for his birthday. The shirt carried the words “I Love My Girlfriend” on the back, a detail that drew attention to their relationship.
The pair also come from well-known Kenyan entertainment and media families. Tumi is the daughter of Nameless and Wahu, while Jakes is the son of veteran media personality Joyce Gituro.
Nameless has previously joined the conversation through playful videos in which he appeared to vet Jakes as a potential partner for his daughter. Joyce Gituro has also publicly interacted with the two, adding to the interest surrounding their relationship.
