DJ Mo marks 12 years of marriage with emotional message to Size 8
DJ Mo has penned a moving birthday message to his wife, gospel singer and pastor Size 8, celebrating her strength, their love, and the journey they’ve walked together.
In an emotional tribute shared on Monday, August 4, 2025, the gospel DJ looked back on their 12 years of marriage filled with “fights, fumbles and prayers” — but also grace, restoration, and growth.
Calling her his best friend and “Size Yangu,” DJ Mo poured out gratitude for the woman who has stood by his side through life’s ups and downs.
“To my wife, my love, my best friend, my boo, my pastor, my ride or die, and the mother of my children, I love you,” he wrote. He went on to say, “FIGHTS, FUMBLES and PRAYERS later, BADO TUPO — still together and fighting as we write OUR STORY 12 years later.”
The two briefly separated in 2021, a moment they have both admitted tested their faith and their bond. But over time, through prayer and intentional effort, they reconciled and came back stronger — not just for themselves but for their two children and their shared ministry.
A birthday and a love story
This year’s birthday hits differently for Size 8, born Linet Munyali, as it comes just months after the couple renewed their vows in a white wedding ceremony held on February 18, 2025. DJ Mo marked that moment as the turning point in their relationship, posting: “On this day 18:02:25 God did it and we renewed our marriage vows… what God cannot do doesn’t exist.”

As Size 8 celebrates another year, the message from her husband is clear — their love story, though not perfect, is proof of what grace, forgiveness, and faith can rebuild. And even after a dozen years, their story is still being written. The Murayas’ relationship has not been an easy one.
Over the years, they have found themselves in not-so-positive news headlines, but today, they are still together, parenting their two kids.
Their commitment to prayer, open communication, and putting God at the centre of their marriage has helped them weather the storms.
