Comedian-cum-digital content creator Oga Obinna is set to take the entertainment industry by storm with his major TV comeback.
Breaking the good news to his followers, Obinna, who has been running successful shows on his YouTube channel after quitting his radio job, revealed that he has a new show dubbed ‘Safari za mabingwa’ that will be aired on five TV stations in the country at the same time and other digital platforms.
“ANOTHER WIN FOR US. I’m Back on TV. For the FIRST TIME EVER.New Show On 5 TV Stations at the same time, TV47, NTV, KTN, Tandao and Kass TV then online we shall be streaming on OBINNA TV, DakaMamilli Page and Nock. 7;30PM every Friday,” Obinna announced.
Revealing the content of the show, the comedian said that he would be hosting Kenya’s champions and sharing their inspirational stories before and after winning gold medals.
“I get to sit down with CHAMPIONS. I sit down with KENYAN LEGENDS when they are still ALIVE and we GIVE THEM THEIR FLOWERS. We share the story of BEFORE & AFTER Gold Medals, Fame and Fortune.
What made them, how and when?” he revealed.
He added that it is time to appreciate Kenya’s athletes since they have been flying high the country’s flag.
“It’s about time Kenyans start to appreciate our ATHLETES MORE. This will not only INSPIRE YOU but MOTIVATE YOU AS WELL,” he revealed.
Obinna TV’s dream
On July 19, 2023, took to his Instagram page and revealed that his dream had come true after he was invited by a local station to host a popular TV show.
“Tonight is gonna be one of my best nights ever. finally, my dream has come TRUE!! I get to be on TV again as a host of THE BIGGEST TV SHOW 10/10 !! Mama, WE MADE IT!” he said.
While appreciating the opportunity given, Obinna went further to disclose his love for TV adding that he has over 10 years experience in hosting numerous shows on TV.
“Doing what I LOVE on the BIGGEST platform in the country.Thank you, Citizen TV. Thank you 10/10, and thanks, Team Obinna. We did it, With my experience from hosting numerous TV shows ( Kajairo Music Comedy, Breaktime Show, Comedy Club, Offside NTV, FNL Kiss TV, and other concerts and events hosted over 10 years ) sitawaangusha,” Obinna said.
