Comedian Dada Sarah apologises for mocking singer Nyambeere’s medical condition

Comedian and crossdresser Dada Sarah has publicly apologised for mocking Kikuyu singer Elizabeth Nyambeere’s medical condition following widespread criticism.
In a post on his social media page on Saturday, October 25, 2025, Dada Sarah acknowledged that his remarks were “insensitive and hurtful” and expressed regret for the offence caused.
“I realise now that my words were insensitive and hurtful. I’m truly sorry for any offence or discomfort I may have caused. I meant no harm since what I said came from people’s comments,” he wrote.

The comedian further emphasised his respect for people, particularly those older than him. “I am a boy who respects people, especially those who are above me,” he said, recognising the impact of his words and the need for accountability.
He pledged to exercise greater caution in the future, adding, “I’m committed to being more thoughtful and considerate in the future.”

Dada Sarah also extended his best wishes to the singer, stating, “To Mum Nyambere, I wish you a quick recovery. Thank you for holding me accountable. I appreciate your feedback and support.” Hi
In a recent interview, Elizabeth Nyambeere revealed that she has been suffering from dementia, a progressive neurological disorder that affects memory, thinking, and the ability to perform daily tasks.

She has been living with her mother, who has been her primary carer, ensuring she takes her medication and manages the condition. In its early stages, a person may still recall familiar memories, such as their name or phone number, while struggling with short-term memory and focus.
Nyambeere is widely known for her Kikuyu gospel songs, including hits like Daudi na Afilisti and Ninjangite, which have earned her acclaim in Kenya’s gospel music scene.
