Celebrated Jamaican musician Buju Banton will perform in Nairobi on February 8, 2020.

Buju Banton, whose real name is Mark Anthony Myrie, will headline a reggae and dancehall concert at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

Mediamax Network Ltd.’s, K24 Television, is the event’s official TV partner, whereas NRG is the concert’s official radio sponsor.

The event’s tickets range from Ksh2, 000 to Ksh10, 000, depending on one’s preference. Normal charges are between Ksh2, 000 and Ksh3, 000, whereas VIP tickets go for Ksh5, 000 for early acquirers. At the gate, on February 8, VIP tickets will go for Ksh9, 000.

Batty Rider, Steppa, Untold Stories, Love Sponge, Destiny, Mama Africa, are among the musician’s popular hit songs.

Buju Banton, 46, joins a long list of Jamaican artistes who have performed in Kenya, including Grammy-nominated teen Koffee, Etana, Chris Martin, Konshens, Jah Cure, Chronixx, Glen Washington, Duane Stephenson, Richie Spice, Luciano, Tarrus Riley, Romain Virgo, Alaine, Morgan Heritage and D Major, among others.
