Bien reacts with subtle shade as Mumbi Maina resigns from Otile Brown’s camp

Bien Aime Baraza has reacted to Mumbi Maina’s post following her sudden resignation as Otile Brown’s manager.

The celebrated singer shared a post on his Instagram account on Monday, July 28, 2025, with his viral hit ‘All My Enemies Are Suffering’.

The song blends upbeat rhythms with hard-hitting lyrics, touching on themes of resilience, triumph, and perhaps a bit of sweet revenge.

Similarly, Bien’s response stemmed almost a year after he brought up the discussion about his online beef with fellow musician Otile Brown, with Bien further taking to his socials apologising to Brown on August 1, 2024.

“I’ve come to my senses. I have no business beefing with a hard-working brother. I’d like to apologise for anything offensive I’ve said or done to diminish our art. Sorry Otile,” Bien stated in his post.

On the other hand, Bien’s post comes just moments after Mumbi Maina shared her exit from Otile Brown’s managerial position, further stating her reasons while wishing Brown continued success.

Mumbi’s exit

Mumbi revealed to the public that she is stepping down from her role as Otile Brown’s manager while giving details on how the agreement was met in a statement to the public on Monday, 28 July 2025.

According to Mumbi, after much thought on the decision to resign as Brown’s manager, it indeed took a while to finally accept the fate.

“After much thought and reflection, I have made the decision to step down from my role as Otile Brown’s manager,” part of her statement read.

Mumbi further acknowledged how impactful her journey has been working with the Artist.

“Working with Otile has been a journey I’ll always be proud of, full of growth, creativity, and unforgettable moments. I remain deeply grateful for the trust he placed in me and for the incredible support from fans, partners, and everyone who has been part of this chapter,” Mumbi said.

Likewise, Mumbi highlighted how, while working in the creative industry, there comes a time when separations arise, also adding that, for the sake of peace, the change has to be taken through.

“As with any creative journey, there comes a time when paths naturally shift. For the sake of my peace, purpose, and professional evolution, I believe this is the right time to take a step back and allow space for new directions both for Otile and for myself,” Mumbi stated.

Similarly, she noted the fact that together with the artist, they came to an agreement mutually, while further thanking the artist for helping her grow.

“This decision has been made with respect and mutual understanding. I continue to wish Otile the very best as he writes the next phase of his story. Thank you all for your continued support and for allowing me the space to move forward with intention and grace,” she added.
