Otile Brown tops Kenya’s most-viewed artistes on YouTube as Diana B ranks sixth

Kenyan R&B star Otile Brown has emerged as the country’s most-viewed artist on YouTube, according to the latest all-time rankings released by Tanzania Charts.

The singer leads the list with an impressive 545 million lifetime views, cementing his place as one of Kenya’s biggest digital music success stories.

The rankings, which are based on cumulative lifetime YouTube views, also recognise other leading Kenyan musicians whose songs have attracted millions of viewers over the years.

Digital content creator and musician Diana Marua alias Diana B is among the artistes featured, ranking sixth with 349 million views.

Award-winning band Sauti Sol takes second place with 448 million lifetime views, while singer Willy Paul completes the top three after amassing 400 million views on the platform.

Msanii Music Group ranks fourth with 385 million views, ahead of Bahati, who occupies fifth place with 350 million views. Diana B follows closely in sixth position with 349 million views, reflecting her growing presence in Kenya’s digital music space.

Ohangla star Prince Indah claims seventh place with 297 million lifetime views, underscoring the genre’s growing popularity on streaming platforms. Gospel singer Guardian Angel ranks eighth with 272 million views, while rapper Nyashinski comes in ninth with 232 million views.

Gospel musician Guardian Angel ranks eighth with 272 million views, while rapper Nyashinski takes the ninth spot with 232 million views. The late Mugithi legend John De’Mathew completes the top 10 with 225 million lifetime views, demonstrating that his music continues to attract audiences years after his passing.

The rankings published by Tanzania Charts are based on artists’ total lifetime YouTube views, offering a snapshot of the reach and enduring appeal of Kenyan musicians on one of the world’s largest video-streaming platforms.
