Kenyan singer Bahati is contemplating moving out of his luxurious mansion barely three years after moving in.

The father of five shared his thoughts on his Instagram page on Saturday, January 25, 2025, seeking advice from his followers regarding the next step for his family.

Bahati explained that his wife, Diana Marua, feels the current home has become boring due to the growing size of their family.

With five children, Bahati jokingly referred to himself as ‘Father Abraham of the Kenyan industry’.

“Guys, I need some advice. I’m just talking to my wife, Diana. She has said that this house is becoming boring because we have so many kids. You know I have five kids; I’m the father Abraham of the Kenyan industry.

Na ni kama mwingine anakuja. We need to move. Na amesema we should not live in a house for more than two years. So should we buy or should we build? Advise me, guys, in the comment section,” Bahati noted.

The couple moved into their current mansion in March 2022 after living in Banana, Kiambu County, for a while.

In a video posted on Diana’s YouTube channel, Bahati was heard telling the kids to use the newly decorated TV room.

“I don’t want to be crying every day, so please be using the new TV room I have created for you. I don’t want you standing on my piano; there is no hanging on the chandeliers, sitaki hasara,” Bahati warned.

The fully furnished house was a gift from Bahati to Diana, along with a brand-new car.

“I have taken time to get you this gift because this has been your dream for so long. This is your gift. You can be proud of it and be proud that you own it… I know you have been waiting for so long, and I know you are not expecting this, but… You are now a proud owner of this mansion, and it’s fully furnished,” Bahati wrote on Instagram at the time.

“Thank you, baby. I love you so much. My baby got me a chopper ride to surprise me with a new house, a whole mansion. Thank you, God, for teaching me patience; you indeed make it beautiful in your own time,” an emotional Diana responded to the gift.

Adding;

“My king Bahati, I am overwhelmed with joy, with gratitude. I still don’t have words to explain how I feel. Thank you for giving us the best, a whole palace. I am the happiest woman on earth right now! Welcome to the Bahatis residence, OMG.”
