Baba Talisha speaks out after being accused of hiding his new partner
Content creator Faustine Baba Talisha has come clean about his love life after weeks of speculation, confirming he is officially off the market and deeply committed to his partner, Miss Wanjey, who also happens to be the mother of his newborn son.
This comes after fans accused the popular TikToker of deliberately hiding his lover, with some questioning why he never publicly acknowledged her presence despite frequent online content.
Addressing the matter in a heartfelt TikTok post on Monday, June 30, 2025, Baba Talisha poured cold water on the rumours and made it clear his silence was not out of shame, but out of protection.
The TikToker expressed that he considers Miss Wanjey to be an extraordinary and irreplaceable presence in his life, a woman far too precious to be laid bare before an unforgiving digital crowd that is often quick to dish out unsolicited judgments about people they barely know.
“I do not hide her out of shame. I protect her out of respect. Some things are too precious to be put on display for opinions that do not matter,” he said, firmly shutting down critics who had taken issue with his private approach to love.
The woman at the centre of it all, events organiser Miss Wanjey, is not only his girlfriend but also his baby mama.
The couple recently welcomed a bouncing baby boy, marking a major milestone in their relationship, one that Baba Talisha has now chosen to honour publicly.

Hours before Baba Talisha’s response, Miss Wanjey had similarly taken to her Instagram page to address critics who had been insisting that she was being concealed.
She dismissed those claims as fabricated tales and revealed that what many fail to realise is that she is actually the one steering the ship and that she had deliberately chosen to keep their relationship discreet when it was still in its infancy.
“Why do you accept being hidden like that, yet he is posting his late ex-wife?” a fan challenged.
“Cousin, I am in control,” Miss Wanjey confidently responded.

This marks the first public relationship Baba Talisha has embarked on since the passing of his wife, Milkah, in August 2020.
Milkah, who had a daughter with Baba Talisha, lost her life in a tragic road accident on Thika Road while Baba Talisha was driving and succumbed at the scene.
Following the accident, Talisha’s daughter survived but endured life-threatening injuries that confined her to intensive care for months.
Baba Talisha has been candid about the profound grief of losing his beloved since that day and has every year honoured her memory with heartfelt tributes on Milkah’s anniversary.
