Media personality and influencer Anita Nderu’s wedding is set for Thursday, September 9, after her traditional dowry payment over the weekend, K24 Digital can authoritatively report.

Anita is set to marry her fiance Berret at an undisclosed high-end location in Nanyuki.

The couple’s traditional wedding also known as Ruracio took place on Sunday, September 5, at the Fort Smith Gardens in Loresho.

In an intimate affair attended by close friends and family, guests were dressed in African print attires.

The affair has since been under wraps for the better part of the week however hawk-eyed K24 Digital team has managed to secure a copy of their itinerary including the location of the events.

In a now-deleted post, Anita introduced her boyfriend and now finance during her 31st birthday bash.

Anita was previously dating a Kenyan-Indian man known as Sunny Mun a deejay whom she managed to keep under wraps for about seven years.

Last year, the media personality shocked many when she posted on Twitter that she was a member of the LGBTQ community. Despite the storm of negativity she received, the TV host stood by her standpoint.

In a viral tweet, Anita said that she wouldn’t want her children to go through what she’d gone through for being LBGTQ. “I hope my kids will never have to go through what I have gone through for being LGBTQ”, she tweeted.
