Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba insists on keeping his private life off social media.
He made this known while speaking in a recent interview. From what he said is that he is not ready to out his private life no matter the circumstances
The singer known for his soothing Swahili songs said this while responding to a question regarding the alleged woes facing his marriage.
Being one who has been in the industry for the longest time, Kiba dodged the question by talking about how love has changed over the years.
According to the singer, people no longer understand the true definition of love which is why most relationships end as soon as they start.
“Wazee wetu walikuwa na mahaba sana. Zamani hawakuwa na hiyo formula ya kuwa na mpenzi wa kwanza, wa pili, wa tatu, wa nne wa tano. Kiukweli ata kama ilikuwepo, few men can do that,” Ali Kiba explained why love was unique back then.
He went on to blame failed marriages and relationships on fake love.
“Mapenzi ya uongo ni mengi, alafu ya mahaba ni kidogo sana,” Kiba explained.
Kiba on divorce
His statement on love comes a few weeks after his Kenyan wife, Amina demanded a divorce.
According to Amina, her estranged husband had refused to sign the divorce papers despite having confirmed their relationship was over.
“I saw there is need to address this. I think is getting too much!!! I am tired of being disrespected publicly while people don’t understand what it is to live like somebody’s wife,” Amina Khaleef wrote in her post while addressing divorce rumours surrounding her marriage.
“I left you to avoid getting more hurt, abused and other struggles however since then you refuse to grant me divorce,” Amina went on about her marital woes.
Amina Khaleef noted she was done with Kiba who on the other hand refuses to speak on the issue, but hints all is well.
Khalef and Kiba tied the knot in a lavish wedding in April 2018.
