Actress Nyaboke: Stop telling me my man is cheating

Actress and media personality Nyaboke Moraa has come out guns blazing against people she says are obsessed with reporting on other people’s relationships.
In an Instagram video on August 23, 2025, Nyaboke mocked those who keep whispering to her that her man might be cheating.
“Kuna hawa watu wako na ukiritimba. Wako na midomo mikubwa kama sufuria za catering. Wanaona mtu wako na mtu, na wanasema, ‘Oh, your man is cheating; oh, your woman is cheating. Tafadhali, huyo mtu alinambia ‘I love you’ nikienda kulala. Nimelala niko happy. Nimeshinda, and I am happy. Wewe unataka kunibomolea my walls of Babylon kuniambia vile gaidi yangu inacheat.”
Loosely translated as;
“There are these people with bad behaviour. They have big mouths similar to cooking pots used in catering. They see someone with your partner, and they start saying, ‘Your man or woman is cheating.’ Please, that person told me they love me before I went to sleep; I slept happily and spent my day with joy. You now want to ruin my walls of Babylon by telling me that my man is cheating,” she warned.

Nyaboke went further to question the logic behind people who expect her to leave her partner because of rumours.
“So you want me to leave my man for cheating niendee ule ambaye ameachwa for cheating? Can you let that gaidi cheat in peace? Bora hajaniambia,” she added, lacing her response with sarcasm.

Further, she dismissed them as self-appointed detectives who act like NSIS or the FBI without pay.
“Hiyo ukiritimba ya kunikimbia mdomo kuniambia mtu wangu anacheat tafadhali koma udaku. Wewe sio NSIS or FBI; nimekutuma nakulipa mwisho wa mwezi,” Nyaboke said.
Loosely interpreted as
“That bad behaviour of running to inform me that my man is cheating – stop with the gossip. You are not the National Intelligence Service (NSIS) or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officer I hired that I pay monthly,” she added.
