PHOTOs: Ruto graces wedding of Noordin Haji’s son in Garissa

President William Ruto was among the guests at the wedding of Mohammed Noordin Mohamed Y. Haji, the eldest son of National Intelligence Service Director-General Noordin Haji.
The ceremony took place in Masalani, Ijara Constituency, Garissa County, and brought together family, friends, and local leaders.
The President was welcomed by the NIS chief and other officials.
The nikah ceremony was held under a large tent decorated in Somali cultural colours. Hundreds of guests attended, enjoying the lively and colourful celebrations.

National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula joined the event and congratulated the couple. He said that a strong marriage is built on patience, respect, and understanding. He wished the newlyweds a life filled with joy, peace, and success.

“A blessed union is built not on perfection, but on two hearts choosing each other with patience, respect, and purpose. I joined President H.E Dr William Ruto and other distinguished guests at Masalani, Ijaraa Constituency, Garissa County for a beautiful wedding of Mohammed Noordin Mohamed Y. Haji, son of National Intelligence Service Director General Mr. Noordin Haji and Jamila Mohammed Abdulgader Al Sawae,” Moses Wetang’ula said in a statement on his X.

“I extend my warmest congratulations to the young couple as they begin this new chapter. May their union be strengthened by faith, guided by wisdom, and filled with peace, and prosperity. Wishing Mohammed and Jamila a lifetime of joy and grace.”
