Outspoken Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has vowed never to attend another Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting.
Speaking on Monday, June 8, the MP claimed that the party leader, President Uhuru Kenyatta, was harsh to members during their recent PG held at State House, Nairobi.
The aggrieved MP accused some Jubilee MPs of being insincere about what transpired during the PG meeting in which the party leadership in the House was reconstituted.
“We went there out of respect that we have for the party and the President but were treated like children and his language was harsh in every respect. I will ever waste my time again attending such meetings,” remarked Sudi during a media briefing in Kapseret Constituency.
The vocal MP said despite the ongoing purge in the ruling party perceived to be targeting allies of the Deputy President William Ruto, Tanga Tanga members will stay put.
He said that members have invested a lot in the party to let it go without putting up a fight for their stake.
“Personally, I have invested a lot as a member in Jubilee and despite everything that is going on, we will fight from within. Let no one think we will surrender Jubilee to him or her. This is our party and we are here to stay,” said the Kapseret MP.
