E-passport applicants to book appointments
26th August, 2019 12:47 PM

Kenyans applying for e-passports will now be required to book appointments through the e-citizen platform before going to the passport processing centres.
This is according to a notice released on Sunday by the Immigration Department.
Immigration director, Mr Alex Muteshi, asked those who have already filled online applications for an e-passport to visit the portal and book appointments.
But Mr Muteshi exempted sick persons who have urgent appointments to travel abroad for treatment, students on scholarships who require immediate travel, government officials on urgent assignments and business executives on demanding visits.
