Nairobi County Assembly is mourning the demise of its Deputy Minority Leader Hon. Mellab Atemah Lumallah.

The young and vibrant MCA who was nominated by the ODM party passed on this morning while receiving treatment in India.

Passing their heartfelt condolence messages, her colleagues in the assembly have eulogized her as a great lady who has served the Assembly diligently.

“She has been very resourceful because she worked with NGOs before. We have lost a diligent leader,” nominated MCA Mary Ariviza said.

Utalii Member of the County Assembly Wilson Ocholla said Mellab was a personal friend to him.

“Fare thee well my sister,” Ocholla said.

Mellab was eyeing the Kabiru Member of County Assembly in the coming August election.
