Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its online portal for students to revise their choices for placements to universities and colleges.

In a statement on Saturday, May 17, 2025, KUCCPS informed the students that the exercise was for covering the 2025/2026 placement cycle.

According to KUCCPS, those who failed to secure courses in the previous application period that closed on April 30, 2025, would also get an opportunity to pick from the remaining ones listed on their portal.

“Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) online application system is open for Revision of Choices for placement of students to universities and colleges for the 2025/2026 placement cycle,” the statement read in part.

“Applicants who did not secure a course in the application that ended on April 30, 2025, are invited to log in again and choose remaining courses as listed on the portal,” it added.

Those who missed

KUCCPS noted that those who attained the mean grade in KCSE but failed to apply would be considered.

“Form Four Leavers who attained a mean grade in their respective KCSE examinations but are yet to make an application for placement are also invited,” KUCCPS announced.

The exercise is meant to ensure no student is locked out during the placement exercise.

“To access the portal, visit the KUCCPS website http://kuccps.ac.ke and click the tab Student’s Portal,” KUCCPS advised the students.

The revision will run from May 18, 2025, to May 27, 2025.

During the previous window, KUCCPS deployed officers at 63 universities and colleges, their offices and in Huduma Centers across the country to guide and support applicants.
