KPA announces job vacancies with a salary of up to Ksh130K

The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has announced that it is seeking to recruit qualified and interested candidates to fill various positions across six departments with a salary of up to Ksh130,000.
In a gazette notice published in MyGovernment’s latest edition on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the authority announced that the recruitment is a replacement of select positions within the authority.
“To enhance institutional capacity to deliver strategy, KPA is seeking to recruit highly motivated and result-oriented individuals to fill the following exciting and challenging positions,” KPA announced.
Among the positions listed are Artisan, Assistant Ferry Master, Technician, Coxswain II, Pharmacy Attendant, Laboratory Technologist, Graduate Trainee, Administrative Assistant, and Pharmaceutical Technologist.
Salary breakdown
According to KPA for pharmaceutical technologies and laboratory technologists, the estimated basic salary is between Ksh 100,660 and Ksh132,290, while for a pharmacy attendant, it ranges between Ksh67,317 and Ksh85,554.
KPA has confirmed that all selected graduate trainees and Coxswain II will receive a basic salary of Ksh76,156–108,767, as the administrative assistant pockets at least a basic salary of Ksh67,317–85,554.

On the other hand, a ferry assistant is expected to receive a basic salary ranging between Ksh100,660 and Ksh132,290, while a technician is expected to earn a basic salary ranging from Ksh76,156 to Ksh108,767.
Requirements
KPA further announced that interested applicants are requested to submit their applications strictly via the Authority’s online Careers Portal by visiting the Kenya Ports Authority website.
“At the Careers Portal, click on the link to the relevant job and fill in the prescribed form before submitting the application. Link to the Careers portal provided below:
https://www.kpa.co.ke/SitePages/Careers.aspx,” KPA announced.
On the other hand, the authority has maintained that email and hard copy applications will not be accepted; instead, applications submitted through the e-recruitment portal will be considered.

All interested applicants have been urged to submit their applications by Saturday, December 20, 2025.
“Email or hard copy applications will not be accepted. Only those applications submitted through the e-recruitment portal will be considered. To be considered, your application must be received not later than 20th December 2025,” KPA said.
