Kenyan sides battle
Attention for Kenyan fans will be firmly on the 5th-place playoff, where Kenya Ports Authority Volleyball Club (KPA) face off against Cameroon’s PAD at the BK Arena. The match, scheduled for 2:30 pm local time, presents KPA with a chance to finish strongly after a mixed run in the tournament.

In another all-Kenyan affair, General Service Unit Volleyball Club (GSU) will take on Equity Bank Volleyball Club (EKB) in the 13th-place playoff at the Petit Stade. The clash guarantees a win for Kenya, with both sides seeking to end their campaign on a positive note despite falling short of title contention.
High-stakes final
Elsewhere, the tournament will culminate in a high-stakes final at BK Arena, where Rwanda’s Police VC go head-to-head with Egypt’s Al Ahly in what promises to be a thrilling battle for continental supremacy. Earlier in the day, Rwanda’s REG will meet Egypt’s PSC in the 3rd-place playoff.
Other classification matches will also take place across the two venues, with teams from across Africa battling for final rankings in a tournament that has showcased the continent’s growing volleyball standards.

The 2026 CAVB Men’s Club Championship burst into life on Wednesday evening, April 22, 2026, in Rwanda, following a vibrant and memorable opening ceremony that set the tone for Africa’s premier men’s volleyball club competition amid significant changes announced to the format of its premier continental tournament.
While Kenyan teams may not be in the title race, Saturday’s fixtures offer a valuable opportunity to salvage pride, gain international experience, and measure themselves against top African opposition. All eyes will now be on how KPA, GSU, and EKB perform as they wrap up their campaigns on Rwandan soil.
