Stevo Simple Boy’s wife denies ever being romantic with Machabe amid son’s paternity claims

Musician Stevo Simple Boy’s wife, Brenda, has denied ever having a romantic relationship with the musician’s former manager, Machabe, amid claims surrounding the paternity of her son.
Machabe had claimed that Stevo Simple Boy is not the biological father of the child and that he, Machabe, is the biological father, placing Brenda at the centre of the controversy.
Speaking during a phone interview with Milele FM presenter Ankali Ray on Friday, September 18, 2026, Brenda addressed the claims and said Machabe would eventually have to explain himself.
“He will come and answer for himself,” Brenda said when asked about Machabe’s remarks.
Brenda denies romantic relationship with Machabe
Brenda was directly asked whether she had ever been romantically involved with Machabe, following his claims about the paternity of her son.

She firmly denied the suggestion, making it clear that there had never been a romantic relationship between them.
“Never,” she said.
Brenda explained that her connection with Machabe was through Stevo, whom she was involved in managing. She suggested that her interactions with Machabe were therefore linked to Stevo and his career rather than any personal relationship.

“Isipokuwa labda kumanage Stevo peke yake,” she added.
When asked whether she knew Machabe before her association with Stevo, Brenda said she did not.
“No. Tumekutana na yeye through Stevo,” she explained.
Brenda says Stevo has spoken to Machabe
Brenda also revealed that Stevo and Machabe had spoken directly following the claims.
According to her, Machabe had contacted Stevo, and she preferred to wait for him to explain his side before commenting further on the matter.
“Ame… amesema atakuja kuwajibu peke yake,” Brenda said.

Brenda indicated that there was more to the controversy than she was prepared to discuss at the time, choosing not to give extensive details about the claims.
She said she would rather wait for Machabe to address the matter himself and explain whether his claims were true or false.
“Mambo ni mengi. Siwezi ongea kwa sasa,” she said.
