KeNHA to close section of Thika Superhighway at Juja Highpoint for 4 days

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary traffic disruption at the Juja Highpoint popularly known as Centurion along Thika Superhighway.
In a statement, KeNHA director General Eng Ndungu stated that the four-day closure of the road starting Saturday, February 15, 2025 to Tuesday, February 18, 2025 will happen between 11 pm and 6 am.
This is to enable the construction of the new footbridge being constructed on the highway.

Motorists plying along the Nairobi bound traffic have been advised to use a diversion behind Lex Petrol Station before rejoining the Superhighway.

Similarly, those using the Thika bound traffic have been asked to use a diversion behind Centurion Hotel before rejoining the Superhighway.
KeNHA has also directed motorists to exercise caution around the work areas and follow the proposed traffic management plan as presented in their statement.
The road authority also advised motorists to cooperate with the traffic marshals on site for smooth operations.
“Motorists are requested to exercise caution around the work areas, to follow the proposed traffic management plan below, and to cooperate with the police and traffic marshals on site,” KeNHA added.
