Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Friday morning presented himself to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters on Kiambu Road to present documents to prove ownership of his land in Yatta, Machakos County.

Speaking to Mediamax Digital, Wiper communication official, Onesmus Kilonzo, said the former Vice President would present documents to show that he owns the land.

Kalonzo’s action comes days after Deputy President William Ruto claimed that the former VP illegally acquired 200 acres of land belonging to the National Youth Service in Yatta.

Ruto’s comments led to a war of wards with Kalonzo with the latter accusing the DP of all sorts of ills and demanding he subjects himself to a lifestyle audit.

The DP hit back in a statement from his spokesperson, David Mugonyi, saying that Kalonzo was afraid of losing the Machakos senatorial contest.
