Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) chairperson Bishop David Oginde’s mother has passed away.

The deceased, Joyce Oginde, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, after being unwell for some time, according to a message of condolence by EACC CEO Twalib Mbarak.

“I wish to convey my personal heartfelt condolences and that of the EACC fraternity for the untimely death of Mrs. Joyce Oginde, beloved mother to the chairperson. The late has been unwell and passed on the night of 13th November, 2024,” Mbarak stated.

“The Commission recognizes the pain of a person in losing a loved one. For this reason, we continue to pray for the family because it is only through God, the pain that comes along with death can be overcome. We stand with the Chairperson, and his family and may the Almighty grant him the strength to overcome this grief.”
