On his part, the MP announced a mathematics subject revision that will be conducted online through his official Facebook page on Saturday evening.
“MATHEMATICS KCSE REVISION. Stay tuned today at 7:30 PM on my Facebook page. Babu Owino,” Babu wrote.
Notably, the Embakasi East legislator started the one-hour revision sessions at the onset of COVID-19 at the time, with the aim of helping learners who were away from school study.
Taking to his social media accounts, Owino described his main motive in ensuring he takes part in preparing candidates ahead of national examinations despite not being a professional teacher.
“The main aim of why I am doing this is so that I can motivate our candidates to pass the examinations. Because if I came from the Nyalenda slums selling chang’aa, then you as a candidate can also make it,” he said before starting his lesson sometime back.
