Narok Senator Ledama Olekina attracted the ire of politicians allied with Deputy President William Ruto after he called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene in the presidential tallying process.

Olekina lamented that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was delaying to announce Raila Odinga’s ‘victory’.

“President Uhuru @StateHouseKenya act now! This nonsense of delaying Baba’s @RailaOdinga
presidency is annoying! The Nation want the declaration done today! What @IEBCKenya
is doing is exasperating!” Olekina tweeted.

Politicians and other prominent persons allied to Ruto savagely roasted Ledama Olekina after he called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene in the presidential tallying process.

“Sen, your victory which we acknowledged and rightly congratulated you for is not a licence to live in fantasy world,” lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi tweeted.

“The difference between you and I is that I ran the race and won! Keep cheering without knowing how it feels like to ran a race,” Olekina angrily responded to Abdullahi.

“But for his one vote, President Kenyatta does not have a role in determining the person who will succeed him let alone in his sorry state of temporary incumbency,” Elgeyo-Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen tweeted.

“It is turning out that these Azimio people actually believed the Deep State or UK will hand them power, win or lose? How frustrating. Kueni serious,” David Makali tweeted.

“Power is taken not given through the ballot,” Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro tweeted.

“Uhuru showed you what he’s made of in the BBI circus …but you still trusted him! Heshimu rais!,” Ruto’s aide Emmanuel Talam tweeted.

“Stop disturbing the out going president, the most powerful man in Kenya now is Chebukati,” Soy MP Caleb Kositany tweeted.
