Deputy President William Ruto has asked for forgiveness from President Uhuru Kenyatta for failing to meet all the expectations during their 10-year tenure in Presidency.
Speaking during the National Prayer Breakfast held at the Safari Park Hotel, Ruto urged politicians and Kenyans at large to ensure that the August polls are peaceful.
“We have not been as united as we should have been. I ask for your forgiveness. I also know I may have fallen short of the expectations of my boss, President Kenyatta and I ask for your forgiveness,” Ruto said.
