Murang’a Seal FC rubbed salt into Posta Rangers’ league woes with a massive takedown, inflicting late heartbreak on the Mailmen in a 1-0 defeat in a league match staged on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Jackson Imbiakha’s stoppage-time winner ensured all three points remained with the Murang’a-based side as Posta suffered yet another crushing league loss.

The victory, which came at a critical stage for the Murang’a-based club, left the administration savouring the moment.

The club took to social media to troll their rivals with a witty takedown.

Same-day delivery

In the post, Murang’a Seal bragged about transforming into a “same-day delivery” football outfit as their opponents remained “stamping letters”, in a fleeting reference to the operations of the Postal Corporation-sponsored club.

“We have turned it into same-day delivery football. They are still stamping letters!” the club posted after the last-gasp winner.

The loss compounds Collins Omondi’s unravelling season, with the club sinking deeper into the relegation-threatened zone.

In another clash, reigning champions Kenya Police picked successive victories for the first time under coach Nicholas Muyoti with a 2-0 demolition of visitors Bandari FC at the Police Sacco Grounds.

Goals from an on-song Yves Koutiama and Jaques Ndecket Bowamba proved to be all the law enforcers needed to breathe more life into their resurgence after ending a four-game winless streak last week.

The Burkina Faso striker, Koutiama, once again proved the match hero, bundling into an open net in the first half from Eric Zakayo’s delivery. Zakayo claimed the second assist for the clash after Bowamba met his delivery from the corner with a powerful header to double the lead in the 75th minute.

The win also got the best banter out of the winners, who also joined the bandwagon of post-match banter with a trolling of the coastal-based club.

“The Dera nation finds it tough at the Estadio de Police Sacco. They’ve left us two containers full of 3 points. Since when did you witness ships docking in the city?” the police statement on the win read.
