Football Kenya Federation Premier League leaders Gor Mahia FC have hailed the club’s younger supporters for the energy and electric atmosphere they bring to match days.
Taking to the club’s social media pages on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, K’Ogalo singled out Ultras Green for the good energy that has perhaps pushed the team to where it is in the current campaign. Gor Mahia has further encouraged more supporters to jump on the bandwagon.

The club has further revealed that the young supporters outdid the AFC Leopards fans during the 99th edition of the Mashemeji Derby on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Nyayo National Stadium.
”This group of fans wailiingiza Otoyo fans baridi siku ya derby… wakachanganyikiwa kabisa,” the statement added.
Otieno rallies fans for support
Similarly, the club skipper Philemon Otieno also sent out a passionate plea, imploring fans to rally behind the club now more than ever as K’Ogalo inch closer to reclaiming the league title following their 2025 heartbreak. In a message posted on his Facebook page on Monday, April 27, 2026, Otieno, affectionately known as Mbish, thanked the fans for showing up to support the club during the Mashemeji Derby.

“We want to take a moment to sincerely appreciate all our fans for their incredible support. Your energy, passion, and belief in the team continue to drive us forward every single day. That derby win was massive, an important result, especially at this crucial stage of the season. It’s more than just three points; it’s a statement of intent and a reflection of the hard work and unity within the team,” he stated.
Otieno, who had previously urged the squad to rise to the occasion and safeguard the Green Army’s pride, reminded supporters that the mission is not yet complete. He asserted that the club will need every fan behind them during this decisive title run-in.
