On the other hand, Unai Emery’s men come into the clash having lost their last two games, falling 1-0 at Fulham in their previous outing before defeat in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League semi-final first-leg at Nottingham Forest on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
The Villans enter their final four games of the league season fifth in the Premier League table, and could secure a Champions League spot with victory over Roberto De Zerbi’s side.
The North London outfit did, however, win their last outing away at Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, and are in need of points as the campaign nears its conclusion.

Team news
The Villans will be without Amadou Onana, after the midfielder limped off 53 minutes into Thursday’s Europa League trip to Forest.
He joins Boubacar Kamara on the sidelines, but Ross Barkley and Alysson are back eligible, having not been named in Villa’s Europa League squad.
Spurs’ Xavi Simons has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with an ACL injury, while Dominic Solanke will also miss out, having sustained a hamstring injury last weekend.
The pair join Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert and Ben Davies on the sidelines, though Destiny Udogie is fit to feature for the visitors.
